This weekend we have another festival Coachella. Of course, we are unlikely to visit it, but decided to find out more about the musical events of the summer, we still have time, and made for you a selection from which you will learn what you should wear if you are going to attend.
Last summer concerts and outdoor festivals with the visiting stars, which we haven’t waited for our guest, there was so much that for several months it has become almost musical capital of the world. Metropolitan parks are not just taught us to plan picnics instead of sitting on the terraces (although in their parks on the banks of the river or lake just has not been canceled!), but to dance on the grass in the rain, barefoot and in rubber boots. wrapping along with your favorite rhythms, as in the time machine, somewhere on the coast of Portugal or Barcelona, Berlin Mauer Park or in the Coachella valley, which is, perhaps, the most famous music festival in the world: it is visited including the stars. Among the last – Kate moss, Lily Allen, Kate Bosworth, Beyonce, Katy Perry and many others.
Music festivals in us and abroad: where are we going in 2014?
The Coachella festival and opens every year the season of concerts in the open air: it takes place in mid-April, and from may to end of August festivals in the States are scheduled literally every weekend, so one of them under your holiday you can be sure to arrive just in time, for example, not less popular than Coachella, Governors Ball festivals in new York or Lollapalooza in Chicago.
Music festivals, which at least once in your life worth a visit in Europe:
– a three-day festival of contemporary music per 100,000 music fans directly on the sea Primavera Sound in Barcelona at the end of may;
London “picnic Posters” Field Day in early June, which is based right in the centre of the city;
– more extensive (it is also called “music city”), the Glastonbury festival in late June, which usually does not ignore his attention to Kate moss;
– one of two Portuguese musical events: Optimus Alive in Lisbon or Optimus Primavera in Porto;
– incredible energy of the Belgrade Exit in the middle of the summer;
– Hungarian Sziget on the island in the heart of Budapest in August;
– the closest to us on the geographic availability of the Flow festival in Helsinki in late summer.
However, at home this summer promises to be very musical. In Moscow for the coming warmer months it is planned at least ten largest festivals with music and dancing outdoors. Among them are traditional “picnic “Afisha””, “rookie” among the festivals Park Live Festival at the exhibition centre, Bosco Fresh Fest in Gorky Park during the festival of contemporary art “cherry wood”, Ahmad Tea Music in the garden “Hermitage”, the long-awaited Martini Art Love cocktails with ice in the same “Hermitage”, “Usadba jazz” in Archangelskoye, and many others. Get ready to dance almost every weekend!
Festivals legislators of fashion trends?
Incidentally, the festivals not only established a fashion trend in the music industry in recent years, but also the motor trade. A special style of dress, the guests of the festival: a kind of eclectic cocktail of fashion trends, hippie, Bohemian chic, ethnic style. vintage and punk with the obligatory easy-share madness – even got its name festival chic and inspired a huge number of brands (affordable like H&M and Nasty Gal to the more expensive kind of Opening Ceremony) to create separate collections dedicated to this freedom-loving and beautiful summer fashion trend.
On the one hand, there is nothing unusual or new in denim shorts with ragged edges and flying tunics, which we have already seen a few times, but along with the abundance of jewelry, original sunglasses. bags with fringe or ethnic embroidery and indispensable rubber boots (although experience shows that in the dancing you can do without them even in the pouring rain) it all turns into this eccentric set, for which a justification can be only one: many hours of musical ecstasy from great songs.
